Pressed-Steel Monocoque Body: Primavera 125, Sprint 125 & GTS 300 HPE

VESPA LUBRICATION & WRENCHING ARCHITECTURE

Vespa’s pressed-steel monocoque scooters (air-cooled i-get 3V Primavera/Sprint 125 and liquid-cooled GTS 300 HPE) run dry centrifugal CVT transmissions paired with Piaggio’s spin-on cartridge filter (82635R) and SAE 5W-40 full-synthetic oil plus SAE 80W-90 rear hub gear oil. Always measure Vespa engine oil cold on the centerstand by threading the dipstick cap completely in before unscrewing to read—measuring unscrewed causes overfilling and oil blow-by into the airbox.
